Q: WE LOVE YOUR VIBE - HOW DO WE LOCK YOU IN?

Easy! Flick us an inquiry, and if your wedding date is free, we can have an optional no obligation chat, then we’ll send you a link to your booking form and invoice for the deposit. Once that’s sorted, we’re official! We’ll then guide you through every step, from legal paperwork to vow writing, to make sure your ceremony is chef’s kiss perfect.

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

If you’re getting married in peak season (spring/summer), I’d book yesterday. But seriously, 6-12 months ahead is ideal. That said, if your wedding is sooner and you love living on the edge, check in anyway. We might just have space!

Q: DO YOU DO ELOPEMENTS OR JUST BIG WEDDINGS?

We do it all - epic weddings, intimate elopements, casual ceremonies, and even “just legals” if you want to keep things super low-key. Q: WHY NOT JUST USE AI, GOOGLE, OR A FREE TEMPLATE TO WRITE MY VOWS?

Sure, you could let a robot or a generic template handle your vows. But do you really want to start your marriage with words that sound like a Wikipedia entry on love?

First off, totally normal. Second, we’ve got you. We’ll craft a ceremony that feels natural, and we’ll give you plenty of guidance so you’re not overthinking it. A rehearsal can also help settle the nerves. Plus, if all else fails - deep breaths, lock eyes with your person, and remember: everyone is there to celebrate you.

Q: WHAT DO YOU WEAR TO OUR WEDDING?

If you have a colour scheme or a certain aesthetic you want me to blend with, just let me know! I love clothes, fashion, and have been known for my signature style - so I will fit whatever vibe is needed.

Q: WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR OUR WEDDING?

Yes! Whether your ceremony is down the road or in a secluded rainforest, interstate, or overseas, I’m always up for an adventure! Travel fees may apply if your location is a decent trek away, but we’ll chat about all the details upfront.

Q: CAN YOU BE OUR MC TOO?

Hell yes! If you want a pro to keep the energy flowing at your reception (without your mate going rogue on the mic after one too many), we offer MC services as an add-on. Expect good vibes, seamless transitions, and zero awkward silences.

Q: WHAT IF WE DON’T WANT A SUPER TRADITIONAL CEREMONY?

Perfect! You’re our kind of couple. We specialise in ceremonies that feel fresh, modern, and 100% you. Want a tequila shot mid-ceremony? An all black theme? A full-on surprise wedding? Let’s make it happen.

Q: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REGISTRY WEDDING AND WHAT YOU OFFER?

Great Question - especially since Tasmania doesn’t actually have a government-run registry office for ceremonies like other states in Australia do. A registry wedding usually means a no-frills, quick ceremony at a government office. But since that option doesn’t exist in here in Tassie, couples often look for something similar: short, simple, and legal.
That’s where the Vow Theory Signed & Sealed package comes in. It’s a beautifully straight-forward ceremony for couples who want to make it official without the whole wedding thing. Vow Theory handles the legal-bits, makes it feel special, and gives you the freedom to marry your way - without the government office vibe.
So in short? Same legal outcome and just as quick, but with way more heart.

Q: HOW LONG DOES A CEREMONY USUALLY GO FOR?

A sweet spot is 18-23 minutes - long enough to feel meaningful, short enough to keep your guests engaged. But if you want something shorter (or longer!), we’ll tailor it to your vision. For The Wild Oath package, we max it at a 15 minutes and we can get Signed & Sealed done in a cheeky 5.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEDDING?

We handle all the legal paperwork and make sure your marriage is officially, well... official. If you need a legal marriage certificate for name changes or keepsake purposes, we’ll guide you on how to order one from Births, Deaths & Marriages, or it’s included in our signature package.
